Rochelle Shanté is a professional actor, born and raised in London. Her career to date has been spent in theatre, appearing in musicals such as It Tastes Like Home, Love Thy Fro and serious dramas such as The Countdown.
From the age of 8, Rochelle has trained sporadically in performing arts and dance, specialising in street, contemporary and cheer. After schooling she completed a degree in Public Relations and worked as a publicist before pursuing her life long dream of becoming an actor.
She has lent her vocal talents to the It Tastes Like Home soundtrack and is currently training in vocal instruction. Rochelle plans to appear on West End and for her career to expand into TV and film.
